About CCA

The QtPS Basketball CCA is dedicated to developing skilled basketball players who embody our school values of Respect, Resilience, Integrity, and Gratitude. We place a strong emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship during all aspects of our CCA.

Training Sessions

Our training sessions focus on:

  • Technical individual ball-handling skills (passing, dribbling, shooting)

  • Tactical knowledge and teamwork

  • Cardiovascular fitness and speed through high-intensity drills

Players are divided into two groups:

  • Competition Group

  • Recreation Group

Activities are tailored to suit the needs of each group.

Competitions

Players have opportunities to apply their skills in:

  • Annual zonal competitions

  • Smaller-scale competitions

  • Friendly matches

Student Development

Through our pre-training routine and various platforms, students develop into:

  • Reflect on feedback to improve skills

  • Strategize during small-sided games

  • 2024 National Schools Games Basketball Junior Division Tier 3 Group Runner-Ups (Girls)

  • 2019 National Schools Games Basketball Junior Division Tier 3 Group Champions
