About CCA

International Dance is a contemporary dance CCA. Contemporary dance has its roots in classical ballet and modern dance, and is one of the most dominant dance genres of dance worldwide. During the training sessions, our Queenstowners are exposed to a wide range of movements, from jumps and turns to floor work, to improve their technique, expressiveness, and fluidity. The team also works towards performances and competitions such as the CCA Showcase and the Singapore Youth Festival, dancing specially choreographed items that showcase the talent and skill of the team.

Through International Dance, Queenstowners have the opportunity to develop their skill and technique as dancers, as well as 21st century skills and the Queenstowner Outcomes, such as becoming Confident Individuals who can perform on stage and Effective Leaders who can communicate well as a team. International Dance is led by a coach, a team of CCA teachers, and student leaders.
